As many of you know, Betsy and I are leaving Monday for Angola to investigate the possibility of joining the work there, serving the rural people of this southwestern African country. Please pray for us that we will sense our Father’s heart for how He would best use our family during this season of our lives. Please ask our Father to make clear His desire for us. We are open to whatever He may have for us, whether in the Amazon or in Angola. We go trusting a beautiful, caring Father and we are so confident that we are investigating this possibility with so much support, love and encouragement from you, our very dear friends and family.

I know that God is your strength and your salvation and will use you mightly whereever you may be. His Holy Spirit will give you the peace to know that you are following God’s will and the call for your life.

The Deity of Jesus Christ
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2He was in the beginning with God.
3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.

5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
How amazing to think that God, the creator of heaven and earth, came down to earth to provide us a way to have a personal relationship with Him.
